Spring Banquet brings semester to a close
The Glee Club wrapped up the 2008 Spring semester with a breakfast banquet May 3, 2008, at the St. Stephen's Student Center.
Board members Matt Harris, Matt Patterson and Bill Flege were on hand to present gifts to the graduating seniors, and talk about the Les Hale Endowment Fund. Fifteen graduating seniors were honored with an engraved pen and pencil set, courtesy of the Les Hale Endowment Fund board.

Graduating seniors T.J. Warren, Kevin Bott, Adam Brickley, and Joe Divoky were honored for their leadership contributions to the group, and seniors Scott Hanson, Brian Lenz, Eric Lindeen, Kris Reid, Thomas Rue, Layton Weishaar, Lucas Widner, and David Wirtz were recognized for their continuous participation in Glee Club for four or more years.

Senior T.J. Warren was recognized with the "Harris Award", for having sold the most tickets for the 2007 Christmas Variety Show. For this achievement, T.J. will be going on the European Tour for free. T.J. sold 300 tickets last year, putting him in second-place for the most tickets ever sold in one year. The "Harris Award" is named in honor of Mr. Matt Harris (UNI, '04), who currently holds the all-time record for individual ticket sales, at 360. More than 4,600 Variety Shows tickets are sold by the Glee Club annually.

The fifteen graduating seniors honored were Kevin Bott, Adam Brickley, Austen Clark, Joe Divoky, Ty Halverson, Scott Hanson, Brian Lenz, Eric Lindeen, Kris Reid, Patrick Reidy, Thomas Rue, Layton Weishaar, Lucas Widner, T.J. Warren, and David Wirtz

The men of the Glee Club sang "The UNI Alma Mater" to close the event.
