More alumni events announced for December 1st
Glee Club Alumni and Friends,

The Christmas Variety Shows are just a few days away, and we want to remind everyone of some exciting opportunities for all of us to gather.

As announced in the letter I sent at the end of September, we have the large room at the Brown Bottle reserved for Glee Club alumni from 5-7:30 p.m. on December 1. This event is open to alumni and your guests, so if you have others joining you for the shows, feel free to include them in your RSVP as well!

We now have another new event to announce, which is being sponsored by Steven Heinle ('93). Steven invites all of you to an Alumni Coffee being held on campus in the Seerley Great Reading Room (room 116) between 1 and 4 p.m. on December 1. Steven and his co-host, Kevin Graves ('93), are generously providing the hot drinks and goodies. What could be a better way to spend an afternoon than sharing old memories and making a few new ones? The location is warm and cozy and the UNI goodies are as rich and tasty as you remember them! Everyone, including any of you who will be in the Cedar Falls area but not able to make it to the shows this year, are welcome to stop by at any point in the afternoon to visit.

So we have an idea how many to expect for the Brown Bottle and/or the Alumni Coffee, please RSVP HERE or click on the big Christmas image on the main page.

During both events on the 1st, Board Members from the Les Hale Endowment Fund will give a brief progress report. We have had a strong year and look forward to sharing with everyone what has been accomplished.

And, don't forget the traditional after-party at Neighbor's Pub & Grill following the Saturday night show, which promises to be an excellent time as usual!

We hope to see you at any or all of the events on December 1. You never know, if enough of us get together, we'll surely break out in a song or two!

Brothers, Sing On!

Matt Patterson ('99)
