Over 100 attend first Glee Club rehearsal of Fall semester
Over 100 students filled Jebe Hall on August 24 for the first Glee Club rehearsal of the fall semester.
New members nearly outnumbered veteran members. The group is looking forward to another exciting year as we prepare for the Glee Club's 16th European Tour in 2010, as well as our 32nd Annual Christmas Variety Shows in December. Professor Fred Kiser is directing the Glee Club this Fall, during Dr. Barrett's continued administrative leave of absence. The Glee Club warmed up with 5 songs to be performed on the Christmas Variety Shows in December. Veterans of the group talked to the new students about some of the Glee Club's traditions, such as the Christmas Variety Shows, the Glee Club's Annual Bike Ride Around Cedar Falls (GCABRACF), and 'Seminar' on Wednesday evenings. |
