CONCERTS / EVENTS >> The GBPAC
The GBPAC
is home to the UNI Varsity Men's
Glee Club, and an excellent venue for
the annual Christmas Variety Shows,
as well as the annual Spring Concert.

The Great Hall of the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center (GBPAC) is an acousticly marvelous performance hall
that seats 1680 patrons for the Spring Concerts, and 1550 patrons for the Variety Shows.

Prior to the GBPAC's completion in
2000, the Glee Club performed in the
600-seat Russell Hall auditorium,
and rehearsed in the venerable
Room 111 (Room 116 in the
newly-remodeled Russell Hall).

During the early 1970's, the Club also
performed in Maucker Union.

The first home of the Glee Club was
the 110-year-old Lang Hall Auditorium.

The Glee Club now rehearses in Jebe
Hall, located in the GBPAC. Jebe Hall
has an excellent accoustic resonance,
and also has been used by the Glee Club
for audio recording.

Glee Club rehearsals are open to
visitors, though we ask that you check
in with the director prior to your visit.
